Judi first learned sign language 34 years ago. She attended Western Oregon State College’s Interpreter Preparation: Deafness program, finishing in 1986. Her career spans Post-secondary education, elementary education (one of her favorite gigs of all time!), mental health, freelance of all kinds, theatrical (she attended the first year-long Signing for Theatre Program at Juilliard in 1992), and currently Video Relay. She has served on the Boards of RID chapters in Oregon and New York City. In her free time, she enjoys pirating, going to school, and writing.
